Installation Loss Method & Glue Usage
1.How much extra should I prepare for installation loss?
Click-lock flooring can be assembled by hand or with a tapping block For flat-lock fiooring, glue is required for installation.
2.Why is there installation waste?
Boards need to be cutto fit walls, comers, doorframes and ireqular spaces. Some pieces become too shortto use, so extra materialis necesary.
3.Can you calculate the exact quantity?
Sure. Please send me the floor plan, and I will calculate the total area plus suggested wastage for you.
4.How to install the flooring?
Click-lock flooring can be assembled by hand or with a tapping block For T&G system fooring, glue is required for installation.
5.Do we need glue for installation?
Normally no glue is needed for click-tock fooring. The locking system is tight enough, making fixing faster, cleaner and odor-free.
6.Can we glue it down if needed?
For some projects, t can be glued to the subfloor. But floating installation (no glue)Is standard for most residental cases
7. Do we need to nail it down?
No nailing required. It is a floating floor. Just lay underlay first, then fix the flooring on top
8.Is it easy for local workers to fix?
Very easy. Most local installers are familiar with click-lock flooring and no special tools are needed
9.How long does installation take?
For a normal house, a team of 2 workers can usually finish within 1-2 days, depending on the total area.
